What is the Hiki-dashi Craft Workshop?

The Hiki region is home to many outstanding artists and artisans — true masters worthy of being called Takumi. Through our workshops, participants not only learn traditional techniques, but also encounter the philosophy, values, and ways of life embodied by these master craftspeople. These experiences offer deep learning, inspiration, and emotional connection beyond technical skills.
